What does it look like?

Back to Faq

Wafflestone(TM) (U.S. Patent 6,978,070, other patents pending)
The easiest material to manufacture, Wafflestone is an electrostatically charged grid laid over the top of a quantum well.

GridwellTM (patent pending)
GridwellTM is similar to WafflestoneTM but quantum wires are used instead of a quantum well. Lateral confinement is improved. Although more difficult to manufacture than Waffelstone, it is quite feasible with current technology.

Quantistor Device (patent pending)
To improve the flexibility of Wafflestone, we add multiple independently chargeable electrodes.

Fiber WellstoneTM (U.S. Patent 6,978,070, other patents pending)
The true Wellstone is envisioned as a fiber based substance with flexibility and depth. All the difficulties in manufacturing wafflestone, wrapped onto a very small fiber. However, simpler forms are also possible!
